A considerable detail from the 4th Arkansas was with Lt. Col. Stephens, of the 11th Mo., at Holt's Mill, in Lawrence County, on the 10th of Feb. 1864, when a sharp engagement ensued with Freeman's regiment of rebel troops, in which Sergeant Jones, from Co. B, 4th Arks., was wounded.

Note.This Co. was organized Jan. 30th, 1864, with 42 men, by electing Geo. W. Robertson 1st lieutenant; these recruits were in active service with the 3d Mo. and 1st Nebraska Cavalry, from date of enlistment until disbanded by Special Order 121, Dept. of Ark.

I certify, on honor, that this Muster Roll is made out in the manner required In the printed notes; that it exhibits the true state of Lieut. Geo. W. Robertson's Company ( ), of the 4th Ark. M. I V., Regiment of , for the period herein mentioned; that the "Remarks" opposite the name of each officer and soldier an accurate and just; and that the "Recapitulation" exhibits in every particular true state of the company, as required by Regulations and the Rules and Articles of War.
